The photo-exhibition from funds of the Library of the Royal palace in Stockholm has opened in Petrozavodsk

June 3. State TV and Radio Company Karelia. The photo-exhibition "Russian-Swedish destiny" has opened on Tuesday in the Karelian state philarmonic society. The exhibition is devoted to relations of dynasties of Romanovs and Bernadots and is prepared by the Library of the Royal palace in Stockholm at support of the Swedish Institute and Consulate General of Sweden.

This exhibition is the original contribution of Swedes to the forthcoming celebrating of the 300-th anniversary of Petrozavodsk. As the Consul of Consulate General of Sweden in Saint Petersburg Christians Kamill has told, photos from a private collection of the King of Sweden are presented here and they are stored in the library of the Royal Palace in Stockholm. The exhibition is devoted to dynastic relations between imperial house of Romanovs and Swedish royal dynasty of Bernadots, and also to the destiny of the Great Princess Maria Pavlovna.

Besides historical photos some modern ones are available at the exhibition. These are photos of royal family and views of Stockholm. The exhibition will last till June 17.
