At the IFMA-EMF European Championships Muaythai held on July 22-28 in Lisbon, Portugal, athlete from Karelia Natalia Diyachkova was first in bantamweight (54 kg). I the semifinal Natalia topped Byelorussian athlete Viktoryia Palianskaya, and won the final fight vs. Swedish Sofia Olofsson. It was Natalia Diyachkova first appearance at the European Championships Muaythai in the adult division.
In June, the athlete has won the Russian Kickboxing Championship in K-1 division. Ahead she has the Russian Muaythai Championship to be held on August 17-25 in Kemerovo. Natalia is also one of main contenders to the title at the World Combat Games to be held from 18-26 October 2013 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
- Natalia performed in the adult division for the first time, and has won at a sweep. Her rivals, as she said, were serious, especially the Swedish athlete. Now we are looking for strong sparring partners from Moscow to prepare properly for the World Combat Games, - Natalia's coach Ivan Andrienko observed.
