The e-Government Formation
Improving of the State services was promoted by work on the e-Government creation in the Republic of Karelia.
In 2010 work on filling the Internet-portal of the state services of the Republic of Karelia continued. Work on creation of the Regional register of the state services has been organized. This element of the e-Government has provided integration of the information on the state services rendered by the state government bodies of the Republic of Karelia into the uniform federal system of the e-Government. At the first stage the information about prime services which list is defined by the Government of the Russian Federation is entered in the register.
Within the framework of development of the Republic of Karelia's official Internet Portal creation of the Unified e-Reception Room was completed in August 2010, and its interaction with the uniform system of electronic office-work and document circulation of the state government bodies of the Republic of Karelia was provided. As a result, a citizen upon sending the appeal to the Government of the Republic of Karelia or state government bodies of the republic has an opportunity to trace stages the document passes through the Official Internet Portal of the Republic of Karelia.
In 2010 within the structure of the State government bodies there has been established the State Committee of the Republic of Karelia for Information and Communication Technology Development to be in charge of duties of the uniform customer service concerning organization and coordination of development, endorsement, approval, control of implementation of the regional plan of the information society development and the e-Government formation in the Republic of Karelia.
The first important result of work of the new State Committee may be considered preparation of the draft Plan of activities for information society development and the e-Government formation in the Republic of Karelia in 2010-2012, subsequently approved by the Government of the Republic of Karelia.
