On July 5 22 announced yachts started the race #1. The route of the first race of the regatta passed over the water area of Petrozavodsk bay of Onego and has made 12-15 sea miles. By the tradition the regatta was opened by the swift prologue race which route passed completely over the water area of Petrozavodsk bay of Onego lake. For fans of sailing it was a great opportunity to observe peripetias of the struggle, and sportsmen enjoyed this warm-up, though there also was a material stimulus in the form of special prize from the Head of administration of Petrozavodsk urban district.

As a result they have also celebrated the victory with a result of 1 hour 48 minutes and 19 seconds. Three minutes later the Phantom yacht from Moscow region approached the finish (captain Andrey Reshetov, master of sports).
