Karelia boat is intended for carriage of metal, grain, wood, coal, large-sized and heavy cargoes by sea. The high ice category allows it to work in the Baltic and White Seas in winter. Cruising capacity makes 30 days, the crew is 11 people. Vessels of such type are of great interest for private shipping companies focused on participation in the European trade.
