Substantial financial support is rendered to the regatta by organizers of the Bank Cup Regatta participants of the Russian Bankers' Association.

This year, except for traditional mooring places for yachts in the port of Petrozavodsk and in the yacht club Peski conditions for mooring of vessels, accommodation and catering of sportsmen will be created in the Yalgora Alpine-skiing center near Petrozavodsk and the settlement of Malaya Medvezhka where for the first time the townsfolk of Medvezhiegorsk will be able to watch the regatta. 12 mooring sites are available within the city of Petrozavodsk, in particular, in the new yacht club near the oil handling terminal, Alexander Voronov has told.

Yet, the city needs many mooring berths protecting moored yachts from the wind, equipment for loading or unloading. Three yachting ports Peski, Moscow, and Admiral are currently under construction are reconstruction in Petrozavodsk bay of Lake Onego. The briefing participants have expressed confidence that every year the number of mooring places will grow, that in the long view will provide an opportunity of holding competitions of international standing in various water sports.

Building of the yacht club is a business project, first of all. The cost of mooring all over the world is very high, and those entrepreneurs who invest in construction of mooring berths will be able to repay expenditures pretty soon, Feodor Smirnov has told.
